Some Math for our Numerically Inclined Educators

This is another TED Talk like the Dr. Ken Robinson and Adora Svitak talks posted earlier. Dan Meyer is a high school math educator whose blog I introduced you to at a PD session last year dealing with PLN’s (personal learning networks). Mr. Julien sent the link to everyone on the email list, but I thought it would be in our best interests to also post it here as well…

Mr. Meyer was also just a guest on CNN talking about curriculum reform in mathematics. He may be worth your time. In addition, I really think/feel/believe it’s time we started documenting what we do…as individuals, and as a staff. Many of us do awesome things, and we should be sharing as well. We have cameras, computers, editing software, capable educators…What’s holding us back?
